Race Memorial & Cacklefest® Parade

 

To open the show the the Inductees were introduced leading off with Grand Marshall Kelly Brown. All were riding in some really cool hotrods.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Prior to the start of the cacklecar parade it is a tradition to read the names of those who have left us since the 2017 CHRR. Each year the list seems to get longer and this was no exception. It is a sobering reminder of why we have these reunions in the first place. They were read with respect by Bob Frey to a hushed crowd.

The parade was led off by Roger "Riceman" Lee in his Jim Brissette and Kelly Brown Herbert Cams re-creation.

1959 Tommy Ivo Buick A/D owned and driven by Don Prieto.

 

 

 

 

 

Jerry Bivens in his restored 1966 Bivens & Fisher "Check Mate" AA/FD

Original driver Gerry Glenn was back in the seat of the Schultz & Glenn championship fueler

 

 

 

 

 

Pete Eastwood was back in his Ed Pink Old Master AA/FD.

 

 

 

 

Debra Dyda in her husband's Clover Leaf Aviation" Olds powered John Buttera tribute car.

 

 

 

McCloud Bros. Dean Engineering Special driven by Jake McCloud

 

 

 

Scott Cochran in his real-deal restored to run 1963 Scotty's Muffler Special.

Still a rock star at 81, "TV Tommy" Ivo was back in the seat of the late Ron Johnson's Tommy Ivo "Barnstormer" now campaigned by Kol Johnson and Connie Braun.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The last car going to the topend was "Gentleman Joe" Schubeck. Let the games begin.
