Prior to the Sunday Self-start
Cacklefest Bill Pitts and crew were given the annual "Presentation
Award" given by Greg Sharp to the team presenting the most
accurate image of race car, push car and crew from the golden
age of drag racing. A long over due honor for the Godfather of
Cacklefest.
Following the Magicar award Dave
Wallace presented plaques to the winners of this years photo
contest which included Dave Kommel and Paul Sadler.
